Oh Sorry I was catching a nap!

Same price as the Limited, just thought they would be cool for X-mass.  I have a few of each color & just felt like playing around.

I got home in wee hours of of the morning on Christmas Day, I made the first trip back our place, (it was going to be several trips; the girls were passed out on the back seat and and we were lugging presents from...) when I saw the big box. Brown Santa had delivered and Christmas was saved!

I can't tell you how pleased I am, words do no justice. Wes you rule!

The orange foil looks like copper when it's hit by the light! The contrasting colors really make the design leap off the deck.

Now the debate I my mind is how I can talk myself out of moving if from its place of esteem to slapping on wheels and making it a rider. Fortunately I'm hurt and winter has finally come, so I will have some more time to think.

Thx Bro!

Wes-
Are there any riders left? The Beamer is my favorite board I've ever ridden, but the pics of the Fish Beamer are making me think I have to try one.
Plus, have a safe New Year!

Yeah, they look really cool when they are brandnew. No doubt. And maybe you'll wince when you set up your board, take it for a first ride and suddenly it gets its first battle scar. But that unpleasant feeling will go away once you've ridden your board more often, got used to how it rides and had a few really nice sessions on it. Every new battle scar on your board tells a story. A story about you and this particular board. Stories of falls, hang-ups, drop-ins, slides, grinds, carves, turns, blood, sweat, fun. What I'm trying to say is that to me a new unused board looks nice and all. But it is only after it becomes my regular rider it also becomes my comrade. A skateboard is meant for being ridden, it is meant for being used. My skateboard is the reason why I have fun. Therefore I love and respect it. Every rider in my quiver is connected with memories, both bad and good, that I share with it. This makes the board more than just a toy for me. A used board has character, has soul, while a brandnew and unused board, even with cool art and all, is just blank. Until you set it up and ride it...

How about 2? One ridden and one not, a before and after take on Wes' art. I love you Klopfster, but if Serra says real art doesn't serve a purpose, shit, I mean... you know, how can you argue with a dude like that? But I feel ya man, seeing photos of people's collections and wondering what it'd be like to skate each and every one of those babies. Hey Wes, get some large scale uncut board screen printed with the only purpose to hang up in a museum, I mean huge, as big as the cnc machine. You'd be a skate art first all over again[wink]
