pies seem to be sold at every football ground but food is getting better, my team whom i support is arsenal and they play at the emirates stadium

they have restaurants in there if you have the dearer tickets or go hospitality, food for us mere poor people is ,pies, burgers, fish and chips etc, all overpriced and your probably better of eating outside the ground - pubs sell decent food beer etc and theres the usual fast food shops normally around the local area as well, you cant drink alcohol within sight of the pitch so nobody walking the aisles selling beer, but if you go to pop concerts at wembley arena they do walk round selling beers, spirits etc, football is very expensive over here at most games for a ticket and i gave my season ticket up a few years ago as it was about £1360 a season , i now have a decent motorised system that picks all games up and a decent tv, changing continents i wouldnt mind flying to new york and watching a baseball game for the experience .

What I saw of the Closing Ceremonies, I enjoyed.
Congrats to many countries and USA on a fabulous athletic event...

The Brits did a great job.  I really enjoyed watching it.  The opening ceremony was fun - really typified British culture - humour, great music....not sure about the bloke that developed industrialism.  The events were enjoyable.  My faves:  handball, women's high jump    my god!!!!!!
The closing ceremony...good but not as good as the opening.  Well done.  Really good show.
