old school wheelz or trux...
throw your eyecandy up right here-we used to drool over this shit and i still do-
ive seen wheels and trucks go for more than some rare decks-
one of my favorite setups (gullwing 8 inch superpros with wings stage 2 cons)
same wheels bds dragons are molded after....

one of my vatos chromed out this set of gulls and he did a shitsick job!-
in the ads from the late 70s alot of the companies shined up their trux like this-
worthy decks would be of course a shogo airbeam or a caster pig-
i havent found one clean enough to sport these-
they do work on my beloved biniak though.....

on another note, I have a set of Gullwing split axles that are shined up as weel as a set of Indy stage 2 169's and Tracker Ex-track, full-thread axles...
I think that you are right about the companies polishing their trucks for photo-shoots...
