I remember posting a picture and question a year or so ago, on the skull and bones forum, asking what anyone knew about the board, skater, and Variflex. Got some some infor that the board was not worth anything, and the skater did some jail time for burglery. But I love the board. It has Gullwing Pros with copers, and 2nd Generation Kryptos in the soft red formula. Bill Beaurigard...or some shit like that...My friend Pasco once had one of those in the early 80's. When we were putting together the OSSJ in i think 2001, we got word that he was in the clink. I once saw some video of him skating. I'd say it's somewhat valuable....being that it's never been tested on the market.

Billy Beauregard was a damn fine skater. Saw him skate at Kona's orange fiberglass halfpipe a couple of times in the 80's.

My first concave deck was an El Gato
Eddie Elguera was a great sk8er (above at Apple in Columbus @ 1979)

What a beautiful board, I used to have a Veriflex Allen Losi, Lance Mountain, and "Cloud 9" cut down w/Connection trucks for a street and ditch cruiser, I loved those boards!

Found a Variflex complete in a storage shed in my camp (was a prop from a play). It was spraypainted all gold and had wooden wings on the tail. A hammer and paint thinner took care of it and I had the original graphic. I got annoyed with it one day and sanded everything off, layed down some poly coats. Wasn't feeling the pig shape, Bender has it now. 'Twas my first "old school" board.

Haha, noticed that too...yet the original trucks/risers seem to fit it fine. I say epoxy it up for now and drill it when you stop by here. Or I can just get you those risers/trucks (not like I use them - the holing is effed up).
