Everyone is probably sick to death of looking at this, but it is my number one set up right now. The special limited edition 'gold tooth' Z13.
Randal 180's with Bones hardcore medium bushings and replacement grade 8 kingpins. I mounted these on 1/8 inch soft risers using Random's hardware.
Rainskates Yellowjackets for with Rockin Ron's Ceramics.
Spraypaint and paintpens for the top with BDS Flores griptape.

Rode it today. The soft risers suck. They'll be replaced with hard wedges asap. Then all should be beautiful.

Charlie:
I'm running 62mm Yellowjackets with R180's, see my earlier post. The beauty of Randals is you don't need much or any riser. Try a 1/8th inch to start and remove it if you are not getting wheel bite.

I just swapped out my previous Grind King setup on the Z13 for Randals and orange Minidubs. I don't use any riser with Randals, on any of my boards. I weigh 195 lbs., BTW.

Hi Guys,
I need some help! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I need help with the setup, the last complete setup I did was over 25 years ago. Which was a DTS, Jim Muir - Triplane; w/ Indy (somethings) and Kryptonic dub con, blues.
I'm posting this to the "Setups\Z13" and "The Shallow End" forums.
Recently purchased a "Z13" deck, which was an easy choice since I'm retiring the Triplane.
Can anyone give me (or remind me) the 411 no trucks and wheels?
As for trucks, I'm going to stick with the Indy's. My question is should I go with the 169's or the 215's? This choice is also dependent on my wheel choice.
In the wheel department I'm totally clueless and need the most help. I've been following the message boards here and some clarification on terms.
I'm defiantly looking at dub cons. I know about density, I'm looking for something in the mid-range that cover street and wood ramp shaking.
I see many references to dub cons or mini dub cons, but there is no brand or models mentioned. Can anyone recommend a brand or BDS model?
One more question about wheels... Are the mm measurements the height or width of the wheel?
Thanks in advance,
~Bob

As for trucks, I'm going to stick with the Indy's. My question is should I go with the 169's or the 215's? This choice is also dependent on my wheel choice. First thing is how much wheel hang you like...If you go with 169's you could use the Shogo Wheels or Dub Cons. It should come flush at the tail. 215's will give you more wheel hang so a mini dub would be a good option with them. With any truck, you going to want to swap out the stock bushings with either Khiros or Bones hardcores.

I'm defiantly looking at dub cons. I know about density, I'm looking for something in the mid-range that cover street and wood ramp shaking. Given the conditions, you'll want a softer wheel, the 78a Dubs are super soft, grippy & quick. My favorite all-around dub is the 90a Eight Ball Dub. The new Ultrathane in 95a rides alot softer than the 95 duro.
I see many references to dub cons or mini dub cons, but there is no brand or models mentioned. Can anyone recommend a brand or BDS model? Whenever you see Dub, Mini dub or Shogos mentioned, we're talking BDS wheels. THEY ARE THE BEST WHEELS MADE IMO & THE OPINION OF MOST HERE.
One more question about wheels... Are the mm measurements the height or width of the wheel? If only one measurement is given it's usually height.
Thanks in advance, ~Bob Welcome to BDS Bob!
