Whoa!

What are the dimensions of the deck on the left (double logo)?  And what wheels are these set up with?  Are those conicals Alvas?

That Devo sticker is nice touch.

The double logo Alva is 9x30. Rare indeed. Alva flatbacks. All others are Alva conicals except the pink freak, those are Alva Hardcores.

Here's my Alva quiver...

Here's a pix of me with TA and Michael Angarano (Sid) at that LODT premiere in NYC; I'm the old fart in the middle. Tony was totally cool.

Most people were walking up to him and just babbling and got about a minute of his attention.

So like a total squid... I mentioned to him that I was in surfing in DR (Dominican Republic) in Feb 2005 and missed his visit by about two weeks. He talked to me for about 20 minutes. This was boyhood fantasy realized...

Still stoked to this day!

awesome.  man, tony looks great.  for a guy who's 48ish, he looks pretty damn 30ish.

Also, wanted to ask....who was the first person (or few people)  besides Tony himself to be sponsered by Alva Skates?

Devilock - That's just a badass collection....wow!!!

I don't think I have seen that 9x30 before. Where did you get all those conical wheels from....

@oldskoolrulz.....nice complete, looks to be the same deck as mine, sweet set of team colour wheels

Thanks for props on the collection guys. I've been at it for about 7 years, In I collect late 70's/early pigs mostly. The alva conicals have been from many different sources, on and off ebay. I forgot to post my 3" Alva, I'll update the pic later. I rode mostly Alva's in the 80's - Craig Johnson,Chris Cook were my faves.

Thanks alot Joe!  Your collection is always good to drool over.  Love that Airbrush complete!

Been real busy with work, 6 days a week lately.  Brit and I both want to come up to hang out and skate the bowl.  We have talked about taking the train up since it seems to be less of a hassle than driving, especially during the winter months.  How far are you from the train station?  We'll have to plan something out and make it up.  Talk to you soon.

Hey Alan,

I'm not far from any of the train stations, If you came in to GrandCentral or Penn Station it wouldn't be a problem.
