Does anyone know the measurements (length width wheelbase) on the pink board on the right. I had one in the mid 80s, about 85-87, it was a hand me down from a buddy that owned a skateshop and was pretty used when I got it. I loved that deck, nice mellow concave, longer wheelbase. I skated it into the ground, I think a big chunk of the tail was missing when I finally gave it up. Never did find a newer board I liked and stopped skating around 88, other then the occasional sidewalk run.

So, really, I bet Skateboardpimp has at least a coupla these

actually, I was just joking.. I have never seen another Alva Santa Monica, even on AOS, I got it from TA himself, he walked into Rip City with some while I was there, SOLD! The Hosoi is kinda rare:

I LOVED that Santa Monica, I called it "The Red Baron" no concave, exactly 10x30, look how close the front trucks mount to the nose. It was my favorite ditch/street board, I want another!

Excellent collection, Go Skate! especially when it is so hard to keep everything together.....I am still bummed that I had to sell my BDA White background RS Shogo-If I could do it over, I wouldn't have sold it, collectors have to be willing to suffer to keep a collection in one piece, but, much ahead in the future, Go Skate's collection is gonna be priceless- Skateboard Pimps already is.......the Alva's I posted are my own skateboards- that I thrashed myself- so many memories in each, I'll die first before I sell one of those..You guys know where I'm coming from.

Goods news about decks to come.....an Alva Tri-Logo reissue is supposed to be out in January, per a visit a couple weeks ago to T.A.'s shop.  They were originally supposed to be out before Christmas, so who knows if the timeline will slip back again.  However, it's cool to know that one is the "the works".  Looking forward to one of those!

What a shame.  Another missed opportunity.

Thanks alot for the compliments Baildog.  I know how special those decks are that you actually rode and thrashed.  I have a couple of them and I just got one back (T&C Kop).  It was in NM and I have no idea how it got there but I know it went missing about 18 years ago.  It has my griptape art on it and the stickers just how I drew and placed them  when I got it in '86 in Hawaii.  However, if for some strnage reason you get the urge to trade/sell, please hit me up first.

Here are a couple of new acquisitions to my Alva collection(addiction ):
Danforth Circle of Skulls MINI (rare to find a NOS MINI)
ER with a cool spray paint swirl

Gibson Street Tex with swirl

Last December the day of Slidefest2005, I stopped by to see Tony's Shop in Oceanside, and was lucky enough to see him restocking the shelves in the shop. Living outside of Boston, I don't get the chance often.

I got a couple of new boards signed and a photo in front of his shop.

Also, a pict of my favorite oldschool Alva board.
