Cool shot Rockridge!!!!  Always wondered what Tony's shop looked like and now I know!  Damn, I think I dreamed I walked into the shop and Tony was stocking the shelves and then took a pic w/me out front....then I woke up in Texas.  Thanks for sharing.

Very cool Rockridge, Tony must be a nice guy to put his arm around you for the photo.
I have a couple questions though: Is that former presidential candidate Howard Dean inside the store?
Also, have all the boys abandoned Dogtown for other parts? I mean Oceanside???

While I was meeting talking with Tony in side the store, he told me he just just opened in a new store in LA, and gave me a new shirt showing a "alva" UFO landing in LA. So I guess, he is getting back towards Dogtown.

No idea who the guy was inside the store, I got the impression it was an older couple looking to buy a board for their son.

The store he opened is on Faifax...

And last time I went by(2 weeks ago) had 4,maybe 5 decks, 3,maybe 4 tishirts, and a a few incidentals...

Don't know how the rent is payed based on the inventory. I found out about it from a client that I am doing some work for, who lives around the corner from, and is getting back into skating...Told me about the store and how he went in to ask some questions, get some info and was(from what he said) treated REAL badly by some high-school pukey...

That's when I stepped up, walked to my work truck and pulled out my BDS tail-gunner and said, "Welcome to the next wave"

P.S. Don't get me wrong, I think TA KILLS! But I think whoever is running his retail doesn't know their asshole from a hole in the ground...

Hey Tony, that looks sweet, but I'm a little confused about the T.A. "correct" setup.  Nick Krest (dangersticks) told me the "correct" wheels are green 60mm Kryptonics.  But, in most of the pics I have seen of T.A., he is riding 70mm.  And, yours are 65mm, so we have a lot of possibilities here.  Maybe he rode all of those sizes?

You could be absolutely correct here, I can't tell from this picture what size they are.

Props to Glen F for the pic.

The deck certainly looks like an earlier version than the one I have - narrower tail no wheel wells, and the wheels more like 70mm. The 65mm came out a little later I think.

But I knew that Green Kryptonics were the ones that I wanted and went for the 65mm as I believe they became the most popular size. In any event I'm happy with the look now.

Just to be more accurate, Krest told me that the 60mm wheels would be the "T.A. at the Dog Bowl look."  But, those are pics of T.A. at the Dog Bowl and, just judging by proportions, those wheels look more like 70mm or maybe 65mm.  The 70mm have the telltale recessed backs, but it is hard to tell from the pic if the wheel backs are recessed or flat.  Can you tell Tony?

When I talked with Tony at the Lords of Dogtown art show in NYC, he told me that his set up was Full Tracks with 70mm green kryptos in that photo.

That's how I have my reissue set up...
