Wow, Packers advance to the NFC Championship game!  Unbelievable.  And what a great game with Dallas today.

Pittsburgh advanced today as well.  Maybe a Packers/Steelers Super Bowl Paly??

That Dallas vs GB game was epic.  That 3rd and 20 throw and catch was amazing.  Glad GB won, but Dallas appears to have a bright future...damn it.   Admitting to a bit of schadenfreude at Dallas fans' expense.  Losing that way has to suck.

And KC?  Coached by Andy Reid...the current version of "can't win the big game" Marty Schottenheimer.

The curse that is being a KC fan. I've been a fan since I was an 8 year old just before their last Superbowl game in 1969. Been a long, long road.

Andy Reid is a hell of a lot better coach than he demonstrated in Philadelphia. There he was hamstrung by the politics of who he played if he was allowed to coach and play the players that he wanted he would've been much more successful

Yea, when he wins a big game in KC, let me know...

Up to this point, in both KC and Philly, he's been a helluva good regular season coach whose teams seemed to have underachieved in the playoffs. Just like Marty S.  But, in fairness, Marty (.278) has a much worse winning percentage in the playoffs than Andy (.478), but Reid is 1 - 3 (.250) in KC playoff games, including when KC blew a 28 point lead in the 3Q vs Indy.  Hey, I'm a Caps' fan, so I recognize teams/coaches when they choke.  [frown]

Looks like kickoff is at 6:30 PM East Coast Time.

On a different note, nobody should even joke about this.  It is the Lombardi Trophy forever and always.  I guess there's a reason Green Bay fans hate the Cowboys and have no love for Aikman.

Quote:

Bill Belichick has made an impression on Troy Aikman. And Aikman seems to think Belichick’s impression on the NFL could earn him a permanent place in the history of the league.

Aikman joked during media availability on Wednesday that the NFL should consider renaming the Lombardi Trophy, awarded to the Super Bowl winner, after Bill Belichick.

There's a place I know not very far from me where you can get up close and personal with four LOMBARDI Trophies.
