Summertime over here, so off the family went for a quick 3,000km jaunt. Sydney to Melbourne, then around the coast to the right hand corner, and back up the East Coast. 2 weeks in all. We counted 17 skate parks before we left, we only managed 3 largely because of the weather. Took a couple of boards, Buddy and a cut-down Viking the daily riders. Ace's and new Kryps as well. We did manage to catch some waves though, as temps soared into the mid/late 30's. I'll post up more photos as they are found, but here's a couple of son #2.

Went right by it. They've had huge bush fires right along the Great Ocean Road, which runs between Melbourne and Adelaide. Last count, 120 homes destroyed by fire, and difficult to get to. We've hit 40'c this year quite a few times (104) so it's been a scorching year. Then half way through, we had torrential downpours for 7 days. Strange weather.
