Loved weekly Batman night.
Hated it ending each night in
what seemed the middle of the story [biggrin] [confused] [nono]

Same bat time, same bat channel.....
Loved those words.....

RIP, another youthful memory gone...

It's built on an early 70's Lincoln chassis , has a 460 engine with a c6 transmission. It's owned by an aerospace engineer that' works at Wright Patterson Air Force base . It's the most detailed and over engineered Batmobile I've ever seen.

HOLEY MACKEREL!!!! That's insane. Keep us updated on it's progress.

I read somewhere that the OG car was built in 15 days. It was also very heavy, despite having a V8 and used to overheat. That's why a lot of the footage like it exiting the bat cave was speeded up.

Dash looks like a cockpit, I guess as an aeronautical engineer, what would you expect.

The OG car was built by George Barris . This one was built from molds taken from 1 of the original cars. The body was already mounted when it came to my place and it was rough ! It's a tank that weighs around 6000 lbs. and has a radiator that's custom built the length of the car with 8 cooling fans on it. The body work began last November and if all goes well it should be painted in a couple more months.                                                                                                                                                            " rel="nofollow" target="_blank">[IMG]

Per this site, Dave Anderson (Wendy's Burgers?) owns OG 1965 and 1966 replica.

Wendy's guy was Dave Thomas.

Apparently, Dave Anderson is a doctor.

The first replica, known as the "#2" car, was powered by a 390 V8 and had neither exterior door handles nor headlights. Its beacon was a cylindrical unit with 8 slats, and it originally had a red/red light set on the canopy arch. It is currently owned by Dr. Dave Anderson of Virginia, USA.
