just set mine up with 60mm 81a abec11 bertz and 162mm tracker darts, rode it around my drive way and it rides like a charm and absolutly no bite with 1/8" gummy riser and an angled riser. the w concave feels great, now i understand what people mean when they say it locks them in. anyway, i need to take ths baby for a spin.

Here's the set up for my Gas Head II Long Board. Randall 180IIs, Black Panther abec7s and 3/8 inch soft risers that came with the trucks, and team Dub-cons. Very basic, but good for cruising to the beach. I attached some prism stock with 3m adhesive under the die cut grip-tape as the black on black was a little dull.

Nice!

I like the way the grey/charcoal bottom really makes the other colors in the graphic pop out with the team dubs.

Real nice!  I like that Tail Gunner behind it too!    Team Dubs are rad... I wish BDS would make other compounds!

My very first BDS deck  Technically Jeff's Tailgunner was, but it has no grip, so I haven't really ridden it that much.

I really like the shape of the tailgunner.  I think that I may be a big fan of that "W" concave.  I would like to see other boards pressed in that mold, i.e. like the BF shape or even street deck.  It would be a trip to just stick other boards into that mold, or other sized molds with the same shape, and warp the concave into them.

Here you go:

Gashead:

Indy 169's with soft red Indy bushings. Bulldog Double Conicals - Ultrawhite - Rockin' Ron Ceramics - Madrid wedge risers and Shorty Dook Risers (1/4).

Gashead II:

Indy 215's. I've got the standard orange bushings (medium - I think), but I have the soft red ones on the way here (I will skate it with the soft bushings). Bones SPF 62 mm. Rockin' Ron steel bearings. Madrid wedge risers with 2 - 1/8" Hellcat risers.

I kind of went old school with the Gashead setup and new school with the Gashead II setup. To me, this makes sense, because the Gashead is kind of a cross between old school wide boards and the popsicle shape of recent years (only way better and with way better art!).

I skated the Gashead with Emotion wheels since 2003 (only big wheels I could find at the time) and haven't skated either with the new wheels yet. Saturday will be the maiden voyage for each setup at Los Osos!

Just took the GHII on its maiden voyage.  Man, those Mellows with Rockets are FAST!  Just a push or two and the board rolls forever.  Cool.

Yeah I really like them too!  Nice attention to color detail on your Gas Head II!

Thanks Jeff.  Yeah, I'm really groovin' on the green prism tape.  It looks so right on that deck.

@ muuch

I have one of those yellow 360 dome tail skids too and was thinking of moving it to my GHII.  But I'm wondering if it is wide enough to protect the corners of the tail.  How is it working out for you?
