@Skate78 - Yes the Shogo has a slightly wider contact patch than a Dub Con.

Dub Con = 59mm overall and 34mm contact patch
Shogo  = 61mm overall and 45mm contact patch.

Thanks Tony, VISUALLY I'm getting down with the Shogos (wish they came in team colors).  Is the ride substantially different?  Think I'm gonna order some.

No team colours but you could buy a set of the Shogo's in Ultrathane (they are white) and dye them any colour you like. Mellow Cat, Kronix and oldskooler are the guys to contact about dying wheels.

As for the ride - well there isn't a lot in it. The wider Shogo may provide more grip but its a close thing. More important will be which durometer(hardness) you pick.

Tony, would you suggest the soft, slower wheel for a newbie like me.  Seems like grip would be a fall factor.

@Skate78 - Yes go with a softer wheel until you get comfortable on the deck. Go for the 80a version not the see through wheels(translucent) (they are really Slow)

Hey Oldskoool,

What size risers did you use with this setup?  I'm curious as I have the same wheels and trucks on the way.

@ Skate78 - I think that you want a 1/2" riser at least. Add a thin shock pad underneath to smooth out the vibrations, much better for your joints.(that's body not rolled)

yeah Ian... Pimpin BF II Bro!

Here is my NEW grail.  (Just got it from Whiteboxer.  Made me a killer deal... thanks Bro!)  Im posting his original picture as Im not gonna change it up until I get my new Soft Pour Yellow Dub Cons I have on order...

This BIG FOOT II also has a brown stain top and die cut BDS tape.  Slanted hard risers, Indy 215's, Doh Doh bushings (not shown), and Team Color Dubs.  Any idea how many stained BIG FOOT II's were made?

Just thought Id show an updated picture of my BF II with the NEW soft yellow Dub Cons!  This board rides so sweet with this new formula!  It probably looked better with the Team Color Dubs, but this set up is much easier to push over the rough stuff around my house...
