Jeremy Henderson in the Harrow pool.

John Sablosky Harrow Performance bowl (still buried and minus its walls out of the ground - they knocked them in...)

That's an AMAZING lineup of Arrow decks - and a truly odd selection of mounting hole patterns. One deck with TWO holes, one with SIX and one with EIGHT? WTF????

That Performance bowl was RAD. 17 feet deep, five and half feet of pure vert. Watching Rodga Harvey do a F/S Rock in there is one of the raddest things I've ever seen. So Gnarly.
And yes - they knocked the walls in. I was there the day they did it

Kruza 70mm wheels. Terrible things; I had 4 but 2 just crumbled away. These are on Ebay at the moment, not me selling.

Yes I agree I had a set in 1978 I ordered them from and ad in the back of Skateboard! they took ages to come and where crap when they arrived,
sloww and the bearing seating was a bit loose too.

The stuff turning up on this thread is great

Anybody remember Speedek Skateboards in High Barnet? I still have one of their deck bags - bought my Fintastic Rocker from them. The bag still has set up with Tracker Fulls written in biro on it.

What about this character - appeared on Saturday morning TV

I think Gladys McCrackup was a cartoon in "SkateBoard Scene" the other UK skate Mag.

I remember Speedek but still having the deck  bag is something else

Were  Rocker decks a UK phenonemon ??
I maybe recall Hobie having one but nearly every UK company had one. They worked well with gullwings for slalom not sure how they worked as a park deck

I had a Yowza rocker (an Alva rip-off, I think) but it actually rode pretty well. Tried a Pacer Catalina as well, think that had a nice mellow rocker running through it.

I think you're right about the Gladys cartoon but there was definitely someone dressed and on TV as the character as well.

Funny you should mention Hobie, my friend had the Mike Weed Rocker and that's how I made mine look (on top anyway).
