As a newb I have tried a few trucks & I absolutely love the way Gullwing give you confidence up on the coping because you slide straight into the grove,I guess that’s why they used to have the Knick “the cheat groove trucks”.

Good to hear Ollie!

Got the new Reissue GW with the metal base plate on my PCTT2 rider. I road Tracker in the 70’s. I also rode Indy 159mm HC on the Alva I am selling. Know anything about the NOS set with the ‘composite’ base plates? Are they weak?

OldSchoolSkates.com still has some OG Gullwings for sale . They're not bad , pretty solid compared to the new reissued stuff .

Scott that was me on Facebook responding to your question.I havnt had a issue with the reissues but they are made of softer metal as they grind even easier I have noticed & are a touch lighter again.

You are very welcome Zonk . I hope you found your set 🤘 FYI guys , the website is getting more and more expensive as the stores of OG parts is slowly but surely waning . Get what y'all can while OldSchoolSkates.com still has a pretty decent selection of OG goods 😎🤘

I agree with Ollie1974 , the reissued Gullwings are kinda light and on the "cheap side" .
