I can hardly believe it.  We had our first meeting last night.  The city wants to build a regional skatepark.  We are talkin about 30 to 50 thousand square feet!  Hell must truely be forzen over.  They even understand that we must have real skatepark builders like Site Design Group or Grind Line to build it.  I'm  allready on the commitee and IOWAS8ER will be soon.  Depending on how it goes,  I might just have to hang around for a while.  Too stoked for words.

Dude, take the footage and photos you took while you were here, and show them what a real skatepark looks like.  Demand vert!  If they seem timid as far as how the kids will feel, let me and Skot know, and I will go take footage and pictures of how hard the little kids can rip the shit out of vert nowadays, and send it to you.  Good luck!

Hey IOWA....

That top pic is Aloha Skatetown in Agoura, CA. That was home base for me, outside of Jungleland. It's about 15 minutes from here, buried under an office complex. I WISH they would build something that nice here again.

Lessee, my line was: frontide grind on first little wall, then backside air on second wall, then eithr fs grind or air on third, then use 4th wall to setup up for massive speed, then pull big fs air out of the big wall at the bottom, then pop up onto the island and head back up to the starting point. That's how I got on the local surf shop team in Thousand Oaks. No, I do not have any pics. Hopefully, Jef Morgan (OG junglelander and Aloha Team member) will eventually dig up some of him doing them.

RIP Aloha Skate Town!!
