Damn Joepa, two sets of BHs? Now, about that Olson, didn`t Santa Cruz make rails? Not that there`s anything wrong w/the Zs. Also, do you switch the wheels between the two as not to put wear on the BHs on the DP deck?

those look Interesting. machined mounting-nut seats are pretty Inovative, except it was probably an after thought when they realized the base plate design was fucked up. probably cost a pretty penny to do that too. looks like they need to have machined hanger ends as well. I remember seeing ads in skateboarder for Santana. the only Chuy I've ever heard of was Chuy Madrigal. other than that, your guess is as good as mine.

Right on!! That helps. A close friend gave me these & just said they were unique and rare. Appreciate DOC! They look really cool & may stick on a 70s fiberflex or something. Cheers!!

joepa,
Those Chuy trucks are a limited production "Star Wars Series" of trucks produced in the mid-70's by Carlos Santana when he and Craig Chaqico of Starship fame dabbled in the skateboard industry. I have a mismatched set, one each the Darth Vader and R2D2 versions, I'll trade you for, say a used squadron complete???

Sorry for the link, I'm too lame/lazy to open ANOTHER pic hosting account. Anyway, maybe the good DR. could chime in on these wheels. I was a lame local skater at Milpitas in the late 70's and I got these wheels from one of the guys I skated with at Milpitas and I was told these were "prototype" Blackhart wheels. As you can see there is no logo anywhere on these wheels so maybe they are or maybe they are ? Any help/opinion from the Dr. or anyone else would be great. Thanks.

if i remember correctly, ARAB rode for Santana skateboards. he'd know the deal.

don't get TOO excited about them being rare & limited, there is someone on web selling them NOS for $25/pair

HAMMBONE .. thanks. That shady looking Santana site is: http://www.deckcrafters.tv/store/results2.asp?Cat=Trucks

The value on trucks is priceless to me because they were a gift from a close friend. I am curious what Arab says because they look so cool. Thanks!
