The recent G&S Pine designs cut the corners due to the fact that only black and white Yorkite is available which is the same problem for DTS

The Pine design decks are stained ply bottoms. The G&S Flying Aces repo along with the ones Mike named are done in "Bowtuff" which is very similar to laminate - (Formica is a brand name of Dupont) its all laminate!

Yorkite is a superior pulp paper product that is basically paper pulp roll formed and compressed with wax. This is why it worked on skateboards.

Powell tried to do this with their decks by introducing Bonite. Same type of material, but water based. This is why Powell Bonite decks had a high rate of failure after they get wet.

Yorkite decks live on going strong to this date.

The newer today types of Yorkite  are more like Bonite than OG Yorkite.

So yes they will make good riders -- but keep them dry if you want to own them for a long time.
None of the new repos can replace a OG Dog Town deck -- so enjoy the copies --- but own the OG's cause they cant be remade the same ways!

If you go to their site, they have a link for their Fall 2017 catalog.  These decks are on page 6:
