Net income.

That's profit.

I wonder how they did that ?

Oh yeah...

Remember when our buttholes ached all summer from getting ass-raped at the pumps ?

That's how they did it.

And I wonder why gas is so cheap now ($2.25 around here...) a week before the election ?

Hmmm....

I live in arguably the reddest state, except for maybe Wyoming. I also live in probably the most socialistic state, as each resident received $3269 combined from the PFD and Palin`s bribe, er Energy Rebate. What sealed the deal for who I`m voting for was the final outcome of the Exxon Valdez case, where a majority of conservative Supreme Court Justices ruled in favor of the oil company and substantially lowered the damages payout to hard-working people. In short, the regular people who lost homes, careers/businesses, boats, were paid only a tiny fraction of their actual losses in times of record oil company profits; nineteen years after the fact. Their assholes will hurt the rest of their lives from this conservative-based corporate reaming.

A Republican president= potential for more dickhole conservative justices= more fucking of average working class people.

In addition, I`ve seen the direct result of Republican greed with several state legislators going to jail for convictions brought on by oil company corruption, with our Senator Stevens convicted of seven felonies on the federal level. Apparently, the record profits aren`t enough to buy the CEOs a 4th or 5th vacation home.

PS. I don`t buy the new twist on the grasshopper-ant fable. Conservatives have been FUCKING all the ants or at least squashing them the past 8 years during their "redistribution" reign.

I can tell you that is wrong in my case. I could care less if our President was light blue. I voted for a black man in the 1992 REPUBLICAN primary. His name was Alan Keyes. I don't like Obama because he is the most liberal politician ever nominated for President.

Before the euphoria over Obama grows any bigger you might want to step back and consider these two points. One: we're at war and probably will be for the forseeable future with (name your middle eastern country of choice here) no matter who becomes President. Two: this country is in a financial freefall with a monsterous deficit and promises to bail out everyone and their brother for trillions of dollars. So, I wouldn't hold my breath for all those great social programs and the personal financial windfall Mr. Hope has you fantasizing about. I don't think a politician with a flair for public speaking is going to be enough to get the job done, but you can dream.

Yes, unfortunately I believe Obama's skin color is a factor, if he was white I doubt he'd be as popular.

Bull shit. We need to get our ass out of the middle east and stop throwing $10B away each month. There is limited upside to that spend overseas. That's where our money is going, that's why our government is broke. There are no social programs just tax reforms. WAKE UP.

Importantly our new president, Barrack Obama is not a retarded, son of privilege who never accomplished anything in his entire life that wasn't bought for him by his daddy or his sugar mama, Stepford wife.  We have suffered enough damage from the last retarded, son of privilege whose Daddy bought him everything he ever accomplished.

John McStain is the worst sailor in the history of United States to ever wear a uniform. He graduated last in his class.  He crashed three (3) planes, Blew up another on the deck of the USS Forestal after wet starting his plane to show off, resulting in approximately 200 casualties. Then he got shot down because he directly contravened his flight orders and despite crashing three planes already broke his arms because he still didn't know how to follow simple eject procedures. Then after his capture, he offered without being tortured, to give the NVA military information and information that Daddy was an admiral.

Remember, McStain signed confessions stating that he was a war criminal who bombed schools and that the U.S. war in Vietnam was illegal.

John McStain is a tool, a fraud and NOT any kind of war hero.

Now ya'll Republicans should just face up and deal with the fact that YOUR team, overly litigious, never accept responsibility for their own actions, crybabies has screwed the pooch royally for the last 8 years and are about to get a serious ass kickin!

Obama didn't say anything about getting out of the middle east, he just thinks we're done with Iraq. He's not bringing anyone home, he's just relocating them. I'm wide awake to that fact.

Two Arrested for Hanging Obama Effigy at University of Kentucky
A student and a Lexington, Ky., resident have been charged with disorderly conduct in the incident, one of several in recent weeks involving effigies of the presidential candidates or their running mates.

FOXNews.com
Friday, 2008-31-305

Two men suspected of hanging a life-sized likeness of Barack Obama from a tree on the campus of the University of Kentucky were arrested Thursday.

The incident was one of several in recent weeks involving effigies of the presidential candidates or their running mates. No charges have been filed in four other cases that have made national headlines.

UK Interim Police Chief Joe Monroe told The Associated Press that the men "expressed remorse for a stunt that had gotten out of hand."

Joe Fischer, 22, a UK student, and Hunter Bush, 21, both of Lexington, were being held at Fayette County Detention Center on charges of disorderly conduct related to the hanging of the effigy. They were also charged with burglary and theft at a fraternity house where police said the materials came from.

Lt. Tina Strange, a deputy jailer at the detention center, said Fischer and Bush were being held on $7,600 bond.

Monroe said the men told detectives they decided to hang the effigy after seeing media reports about a Sarah Palin effigy in California.

In that incident, the FBI and local police said they would not investigate the Palin effigy, which was hanging in the yard of a West Hollywood man, because it was part of a Halloween display. After several weeks of complaints, the man removed the effigy on Wednesday.

Los Angeles authorities did not immediately respond to a request by FOXNews.com for comment.

Witnesses who saw the Obama effigy in Lexington said it was life-sized with an Obama Halloween mask, a suit jacket and sweat pants. It was found hanging from a tree with a noose around its neck.

UK police did not immediately respond to FOXNews.com's request for comment.

UK President Lee Todd said the effigy violated the university's code of ethics, and Fischer faces punishment that could include expulsion.

"As outrageous and offensive an act as the effigy was, I truly believe it has mobilized our campus, the community and the state in an effort to battle racism," Todd said Thursday.

It was the second time in about a month that an Obama effigy created a stir on a college campus. George Fox University, a small Christian college in Oregon, recently punished four students who confessed to hanging a likeness of Obama from a tree.

In Redondo Beach, Calif., a woman removed a Halloween effigy of Obama that was hanging from her balcony with a butcher knife in its neck. She took it down Thursday after neighbors complained.

And in Clarksville, Ind., a man who had hanged an inflatable doll made to look like Obama from a tree took it down Wednesday. Authorities said the display didn't appear to violate any state laws.

FOX News' Catherine Donaldson Evans and The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Wow so it's OK to do that,  until you make it a Politicians Effigy with a mask or something?

Welcome to China....

Wave, relax man, it was a joke. I also think way too many people are informed completely by the internet. ANYTHING can be posted, way too much is taken as fact. I just thought this was funny. Although, I agree with him when he says I can do for myself, I don't need the government's help. (I am paraphrasing here). We need to get back to personal responsibility, it is a core value of what made this country great.
