Guess am not anonymous anymore :-----(,
but kinda funny at same time....

Since Mo/hospital was on the way home sort of, I visited him about
7 times. As did others. And lots and lots called him.....

I was jealous at how like-able Mo was, and a good man to talk to, listen too etc....
Skills sets I lack :-----)

Turns out Mo worked in a 1970's skateshop as a kid, 13-17yrs of age approx...
He had fantastic knowledge of 1970s product as was OG on the shelves....

I have told this story before and is one of my favorite stories about Mo....
As he presented to me...;

His Dad says to him one day at dinner table/similar:
Mo, (mike) you never seem to have money nor have I never seen a pay check,
or deposit into your bank account from your job at the skate shop....

Mike then has to explain to his Dad, that he uses the new skate product when it
arrives at the shop to ride the concrete wave.
Thus owing the shop owner, and is taken out of his pay check.....

So he rarely received a pay check while working at that shop.
He was paid in glorious ride the concrete surf skate wares!!!
Classic story from Mike about Mike "Mo" Morrison....

Cheers
David

Congrats Paly. Cherish the board it means a lot to many of us as did the people it commerated.

Big thanks to 70's for getting this together, I'm sure that organising something like this between a bunch of skaters has been a real PIA.
