I just got my Flat Pig set up. I put Indy 215's (10") with 1/8" risers and ABEC 11 65mm No Skoolz. Just testing the trucks I got wheel bite. Would a 1/2" riser put an end to the wheel bite or is it something else. I tried to tighten the trucks a little but it didn't seem to make any difference. Any help would be appreciated.

65mm wheels require AT LEAST 1/2" risers if you want any play at all in your trucks. Try the Tracker 9/16" hard risers. Every little 16th helps when you're running wide trucks and big ass wheels.

Oldcharlie, they are Tracker Six Tracks (161mm). Turning the wheels around on the front truck makes the truck look smaller than it really is.

Bruce,  Thanks for the picture... I just got a pair of Purple Staabs today for my South Side and it looks amazing!  I have Cherry Bomb Dub Cons on mine... I will eventually figure out how to post a picture....

@ bruce--i never thought about doing that (inverting the wheels to eliminate the hang), but i considered the idea of getting smaller trucks.  inverting the wheels like that though---how does it effect the ride or does it?

I finally learned now to post a picture!  My South Side Cross Signed by Wes and numbered 45.  Cherry Dub Cons, Staab signature purple Tracker Darts, Grind King Inverted Kingpins, black risers, no grip.  Not for sale... even though the prices seem to be going thru the roof!  A BDS Bro gave me an amazing deal on this one... I changed out the trucks and now its happy in my office!

Neither setup is terribly original, but thought I would post the pics anyway.  I thought maybe my DT reissue setup was original till I saw mrmo's set up the same way in his "proper introduction" post.

South Side Flat Pig with purple Tracker Staab Darts (149s), OG Tracker 9/16" Space Pads, Orange Dubcons, steel Rockets, die cut BDS grip.

Dogtown Bulldog Design reissue with Z-Rollers trucks, 1/2" soft risers, red and yellow Dubcons, Biltin bearings, 360 Tail Dome, hand cut? (by slappycurb?) DT grip.

OG Dogtown Bulldog Design with Indy 109s, Tracker Space Pads and red urethane risers, purple Dogtown Rock n Rollers wheels.
