I am searching for a Gashead deck to replace a well-used one of a well-known BDS supporter. They seem to be pretty scarce and expensive. Were the Gashead size and shape were used on any other BDS decks? If so, maybe I can find him a new rider more easily. Peace.

Mike has one posted in BST. It went to eBay last night but he would prob still work with you if you sent him a message.

Thanks for the heads-up. I sent him a PM but that board is far too nice to be a rider. I'm hoping he gets his asking price.

Thanks, David! Now I remember the 30" Gashead. The board I am looking to replace is the 38" model.

BDS Longboard Pig - The GasHead II

Board Overview

[GasHeadMockuP]Once again Wes Humpston bring you the most stunning art imaginable on a deck!

Wes developed this deck with the idea of giving you a big stable but agile long pig.

Engineered with rocker nose to tail and the "W" concave. This feature stabilizes the board making it stiffer and stronger.

The convex rib allows you to find your center and gives you a better grip due to board actually fitting into the arch of your foot.

Massive signature Humpston wheel wells let you use less riser if you wish or just give you more wheel clearance for carving. A big board that skates remarkably light.

Specifications

  • 10.5 x 38
  • W Concave
  • 19.5" Wheelbase

357 was also done in the same mould, essentially the same deck just a bit shorter. That or the Gashead II would be cheaper options.

There were several runs of the production deck so there should be a few about, but the sprayed rail decks featured in the catalogues were limited in number.

Thanks, Brother B! Is the Tiger the same dimensions as the Gashead Longboard?
