My 1st REAL board was the classic "BowlRider" with Bennetts and Road Rider 4s....There just wasn't a better setup for that summer....I think it was '77 ?

I would stare at it on my dresser each night after completely wiping it all down and shining the top and bottom with Pledge.

What great memories...and the way it rode ???
I had just graduated from a plastic FreeFormer....Thanks 70's Skater...you changed my life as I know it !

Christmas 1975: I had been dating this girl for just over a month. Christmas eve and we are opening gifts when she pulls this box out from under her tree. (now I'm really liking this girl!) I gasp!! It's shaped like a skateboard.... You understand my dilema... she knows absolutely NOTHING about skateboards and I am going to HAVE to act like I'm thrilled with my gift. She hands me the box and sure enough.... I feel a skateboard rolling back and forth. Gulp. I slowly peel open the end of the box and out rolls a FIBREFLEX with BENNETT trucks and ROAD RIDER 4s!!!! Dear God in Heaven, there really IS a Santa Claus!!!
Seems she went to a small local skateboard shop a friend was running out of his garage and was picking me out a gift. She mentioned that it was a gift for her boyfriend (me) and he hooked her (and me) up!!!
She AND the FiberFlex are both gone but were both ridden quite a bit!

shhhhh (don't want to stir up any old shit!)

Here are some of my g&s collec.
Starts with a classic one : Warptail one with ACS and Road Rider 2

After the warp one, the Warptail 2 (the one without wheel well)

Then some fibreflex because i'm a true fibreflex lover
The Bowlrider in blue (near NOS), thank's Laurence

A classic model with Gullwing and OJ

2 NOS teamrider, one red and one yellow

Another one directly from a time capsule with ACS 580 and some NOS POWELLL Bones

My latest addition, a Dennis Martinez Flying ACES :

I'm looking for this Warptail 2 NOS (and not the reissue shown below), so if you want to sell, exchange PM me

And thank's to everybody on this crazy site.

FRED
