Hi guys,
thought Id join the forum since I collect late 70's skateboards and it might be a handy place to do a trade here or there. I started skating in 75 in London with a made up board from a plank of wood and roller skate wheels. The year after I got myself a cheap british skateboard, Skuda, couldn't afford the serious stuff from the States. Loved going to South Bank but equally envious of all the kids with their nice boards. Eventually got myself a second hand decent board, Fibreflex, Gullwings splits and OJs and discovered the major difference skateboarding was with serious gear. Girls and cars came into the mix early 80's and the skateboarding scene stopped for me. Early 2000 got myself a Sector 9 longboard and was skating again and then I got the bug of collecting skateboards I used to dream of having from the late 70's and slowly Ive built up a collection. The photos are the skateboards  Ive collected so far.

The Henderson is actually my brother's own board from back in the day that I recently restored.  Benjys certainly made some nice decks. I posted brother's deck before it got a face lift.

Hi Joe, I'm also in the U.K. The Henderson is nice and you've built up a good collection of boards from that era. Welcome to BDS

Thanks TonyB, funny you should mention the Henderson board, theres one up for sale on eBay but its in a sad state and there is no Jeremy Henderson sticker. I looked at your collection do you still have the Benjy?

Yes I still have my Henderson II. Saw that Henderson on eBay, it's thrashed or should that be well used. Even at the starting price it's not worth the restoration.
