I don’t recall but memory is turning into mud. I see he and I share a Facebook friend from Rip City. So might have bumped into him at the shop. Saw that he passed away. RIP.

Welcome Don, from Sydney (now) sunny Australia.

Interesting CV, this is still a great place to be for all things skate.

It's crazy how many boards BDS has put out.  I have seen a few through the years but did not know there are so many.  It all started on me now wanting Shogo's.  My wife is so pissed at me already for how many boards I have bought in the last couple of years.  There is another Natas reissue I want to get that comes out this month.  Hoping a wall hanger Shogo airbeam comes up sometime next year.  It's another rabbit hole fell in and now I am obsessing about.  😉

We have all been there (with or without the wife bit). BDS used to produce 6-8 boards/graphics a year. Over 18 years even though the last few years have slowed down that’s a lot of decks. You’ll have to pace yourself if you want a big collection and get to keep it. Just buy what you can when you can afford it, that way you won’t end up holding a fire sale when you have a sudden need for cash.

Thanks!  Need to slow it down for the holidays.  On my shopping list is a Shogo Airbeam, Rising Sun, Samurai and Longboard.  Also, liking the beamer fish with the 2 koi fish on it.

Every time I go into Rip City, it is like home.  I walk behind the counter and just hang out.  I will sell stuff too when I'm there.  I was there recently getting my Alva Chris Cook that I personally printed off the ceiling.  Have to go back and dig through all the boxes and shelves in the back to see what other boards I have there.
