Pads & helmets should be worn when skating parks or in comps. It takes the slightest mistake to cause some real damage. You can't say that wearing them limits your movements with todays technology in safety wear.

Just my opinion, but I'm an ole' timer and don't need any broken bones.

Derek, now is the time to leave home and get a job, start supporting yourself while you still know everything! My kids wear protection, first for their safety, but second, because I'm the one who has to pay the medical bills!
