I got a big bean so I can't find shite in the way of helmets out there. My gigantic noggin just laughs at XL's in Protec and all the rest. I bought a Harley Skid Lid and drilled a bunch of holes in it for ventilation but not only is it heavy and hella hot but it makes my enormous melon look even more obscene. Any of y'all who sell skate stuff I would love to wear a regular helmet and buy it from YOU ! Anybody out there who has a similarly colossal skull ever find a XXL skate helmet ? I'm outta ideas/places to look.

Could you do a little custom foam work on a XL/XXL Protec? The foam in my Protec turned to shit in about 6 mos from sweat & stuff, and was looser at that point

Nick "Dangersticks" on S&B is working on a big melon helmet. Until then, my noggin is wedged into the XL Protec.

XL Protec too. I'm borderline XXL so what I did for a while was squish the front and back of helmet together like your doing chest exercises and it fits now. I got headaches til then.

I feel ya Chet, that pro tec xl doesnt fit my noggin either. i found an xl helmet by a company called Capix that fits. doesnt seem to be the most safe helmet but it does seem better than skull alone. im thinking of trying out one of those mountain bike helmet.

Hi, my name is Gary, and I have a pumpkinhead. Tried Protec XL, gave me a headache. I got a Capix XL and that fits. Most of the time I wear a Giro Semi (mtb helmet).

Hello , my name is Dave and I have a big head too. I feel alot better now. Thanks group. Anyway I ripped out the softer cushoning forn the back of the XL pro tech then I cut the front padding between the velcro. There is about a half inch gap between the velcro. If I keep my hair short enough I don't get haedaches any more. You know we are smarter than those little headed freaks, don't you?
