Hey guys and gals,

Thought you all might be able to help me figure this out. I lucked out and found some Indy 156's today for my Murf... anyway, I noticed the hangers seem to be molded differently. The inside of one the hangers seems more hollowed out than the other and the shape of the cutouts are different in that one seems more square shaped while the other is more eliptical. The eliptical one resembles the hanger from Stage 9's, which I compared to my present set of Stage 9 Indy 169's on my other board. They are both the same length, ie. 159mm, however was just wondering... was there a change made within the Stage 8 forms to becoming the Stage 9's? I know they are not Indy 15(9), since they don't make Stage 9 159mm's. Thanks in advance.

the indys 159mm stage 9 measures 149mm the hanger.
the indys 159mm stage 8 measures 146mm '' '' .
in the future just as a trial try the new dart trackers
149mm . they have a better turn and more stable.

Sorry guys,

Maybe I mis-worded my question or you didn't understand what I was asking.

I have two (2) Indy 156's (Stage 8). The Base Plates are identical. One hanger is different shaped than the other. They are both the same length in axle and hanger (156mm).

My question is were there changes made within the Stage 8's line that changed the shape of the cutouts in the hanger? Is one of the 156's I have actually a newer version than the other one?

Oh and thanks for the recommendations to the Trackers, but I'm a tried and true INDEPENDENT TRUCKS kinda guy. I grew up with em' I'll die with em! I'm stupid that way LOL

Hey ! is fine if you're an indy person. every one has their own way and feel to things .Any way, Stage 8 had two versions the first one has close to a raw finish and by the end before going to the stage 9 they became more polished.then the stage 9 came out taking material and having two small holes on the base plate "to make them lighter ?"
but as far a diferent shape ,I'm not familiar with that ,I'm more informed with trackers , so hopefully you'll find some clues. But it shouldn't be a problem to ride them if the hanger are both the same size.

Thanks for the info there Armando. The two extra holes in the base plates are not for lightening... they were put in place so that you can mount either new school or old school decks. The hangers are all I'm wondering about.
