saw the movie premiere and got a free shirt...worth seeing but i personally found myself bored after the 1st 15 min..due to the fact that it hit an era at which I quit BMX as it moved above 1976.(my opinion  best part is RICK's BIKE SHOP and JP stuff)..I made the choice and can clearly remember putting the 2 down on paper doing pro's and cons.... Skateboarding or BMX? which one should I put my heart and soul into?(I always get to analitical????) easy choice for me at the time..LOL and as you can see I chose the BEST route..LOL(my opinion)...nice movie though and I dig the initial shots as well as the shirt and poster...thank you to MARK EATON (Producer)..love kuch....

thank you to SAINT RUTHIE for MODELING the shirt

Ok, bringing up an old thread.  Being the Old School BMX fan/collector that I am, I just bought the DVD of Joe Kid On a Stingray from their website and watched it last night.   Cool stuff.  I liked it even more when during the interview with Thom Lund there was a Buddy Carr and a Sacred Heart in the background.  Not only that, he was wearing a BDS t-shirt.  JP interview with something that said Bulldogs Art in the background and even crediting Wes for bringing 'em to Keyhole to skate then ride the bikes in there.  Nice.

hey,
o.k., here's where I'll have to reverse myself in regards to
b.m.x.
I'd watch guys on b.m.x. bikes IF they were riding in a
pool...like the Vans Combi replica.
the bike ramp riding is even more boring than watching skaters
ride ramps.
but bikes in a big pool, you bet!!!
that'd take some cojones.

Funny thing I saw on fuel tv was Tony Hawk's Huck Jam tv thing.  He was saying how the skateboarders will know when something is about to go wrong, toss their boards away from 'em and knee slide down the ramp.  When the BMX guys know something is wrong they hang on to their bikes for as long as they can, try to ditch the bike while looking like cats thrown in the air looking for something to hold on to, and eat it pretty bad when they land.  No knee slides there.
