AU CONTRAIRE MSR.2nd!!!
Actually,
Steve DID take that picture...Truth is stranger than fiction!
Yeah, that f/s nose grab is something Steve started working
on today. We had the whole park to ourselves, so we were
really working on getting over in the back pocket and "throwing
down". I can't wait 'til Steve gets that f/s nose grab "perfected"...
I couldn't believe I actually pulled off that f/s rail grab carve
grind! The amount of speed I generated as I let go of the rail
and came down the wall was SCARY!!!(in a good way of course!)
Gotta a little work to do to really get it up there though.

hey RR4,
Yeah, those are Mellow Yellows.
We were giving them a "shake down" today. I thought
they were excellent wheels! Fast for being so soft, and
smooooooooth like buttah!!!
The STEALTH wheels. I had to be right on the bowl to
hear Steve go past.
Definitely a rough cement wheel.
Thanks for the compliments on the photos.

Yo Ph,
you'd have been MELTING today!!
It was soooo HOT!!! Even the wind was like being
in a blast furnace...
but, the park was almost totally empty...so it was
worth the sweat.

Whats up,

Yea, Yea there I am trying to shoot a nice shot of Chris's truck from the back of the park and this madman kept gett'in in the way.. The look on his face stems from the fact he's pull'in about 4 G's going thru the pocket.. Aside from the Death Valley like temps 106-110, yesterday was a blast.. Chris was kill'in the carves thru the pocket, I missed some of the gnarlier ones he threw up there, imagine that!! LOL

First time I've ridden a Quad 10, was alot of fun to ride.. Real easy board to throw around.. I can hardly wait for the 11!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The real surprise yesterday was the Yellow Soft Pour Dubs.. As everyone here knows I am a huge fan of the Black Death and Ultra Thane wheels.. Well add these to the list.. Unbelievable, fastest soft wheel I've ever been on.. Had no problem keeping speed between walls.. They were a little slower on the carves, but kickturning thru the bigger walls I had very little trouble gett'in the speed I needed.. The kicker is I was using an older set of bearings with these and the wheels performed awesome.. You throw some Ron's ceramics in these, yikes!!! Ya just have to get used to the fact they are so quiet, should be called the Yellow Stealth's.. These will be an awesome ditch wheel, and could be easily applied to larger, rougher things.. HeHeHe.. They will be gett'in a real test here in a few weeks, stay tuned..

@2nd   It's way too much stress taking pics, I always feel bad when he does something gnarly and alls I get is the cars in the background, tree's, trashcans, benches!!!! LOL!!! I'll stick ta skat'in!!!!

C-ya,

Steve
