thinking about some M Y's for my skull and cane   just cant decide on a combo    169 + mini dub     149 + Dubs or dragons  for cruising in my street

Hey Fletch,

Yep John's on it.. 215's for now, Wide Rides soon.. B/D mini's, which have worked out sweet on that deck!!!! I've been having a blast on the GHII, a great deck!!

Those yellow Dubs were alot of fun, real smooth and real grippy.. Would be great for rough crete or park or street cruising.. Scary Quiet, takes a little getting used to no noise.... Try the Dubs out first, I think you'll like the ride!!

@ Kronix --Thanks John... I'm still waiting for delivery so I can send out the wheels I told ya about... Good intentions, just an unforseen delay..

C-ya,

Steve

Steve,  which do you feel gives the higher performance ride, a wider truck narrower wheel or narrower truck wider wheel  ie  215 + minidub or 169 and shogo/dragon?

Anyone and everyone chime in with an opinion  could be an interesting discussion

Hey Fletch,

For the GHII the B/D Mini Dub / 215 is working out great.. Usually I would go with the Mike Smiths and Dub Cons.. For me on  my main riding decks the Z-13 and BFII I will go with the fastest set ups I can get away with ---

On the Z  Mike Smiths And the B/D Dragons (When the B/D Dubs are out I'll use those instead of the Dragons..

On the BF II  Wide Rides and the Ultra thane Dub Cons (Again the B/D Dubs will replace the Ultras)..

On the GHII I will swap out the 215's for some Wide Rides I just got, just haven't had the time to do it yet.. Also I'm thinking I will give the B/D Skull Waves a shot on that deck as they are 64mm over the Mini's 62mm..

This what I'm using and will be using on my regular decks and it works for me.. Hope this helps!!! Oh yeah don't forget the Ron's.......

C-ya,

Steve

thanks Steve,  I like my speed also and run rockets in all my wheels.

As I said my main rider(skaterbuilt ground Hog) has 215's and BD mini dubs and have my Z-13 set up with 169's and BD shogo's. the bd shogo's also get swapped onto my long pig.

Might try the 169 BD shogo combo on the Hog and see how it feels

Please! Camera settings! What were you shooting with and what were the settings. Those pics are great! Oh, yea, the skaters are not too bad either.

hey,
uhhhh...
well...on the picture of Steve on the Bigfoot,
I'd guess I was using 100 ISO on my camera
probably a 1/1000 shutter speed
and maybe f/5?
canon eos20d with a Tamron 17-35mm wide angle
no flash(no need)
same/similar specs for the other pictures?
Ripon's cement is VERY reflective which is kind of
useful, especially during the winter.
hope this helps?
