Merlin and Ratone are showing us some pretty sweet Kryptonics hardware, so how about a Kryptonics Korner?  Everybody loves these boards, so let's see 'em.  Sadly, I have only these vintage photos to contribute.  (Who are those dorks in the pictures)?  Both the Salba K-Beam and the foam core were my brother's.  He sold the foam core on eBay not long ago.  I tried to save it, but couldn't fire up the kind of dough he got for it.  That rat.

The 8" foam core had Tracker Fultracks with white Tracker hard bushings and green Kryptonics C-65 wheels with white Kryptonics bearings.  The deck was re-drilled by my brother to move the front trucks back.  The foam core is in someone's SoCal board museum now.  The K-Beam had wide Lazer trucks and blue Kryptonics CX-66 wheels.  No idea where this board is now.

Bring it on!!!

I loved riding my K-beam at Big "O", Upland Pipeline, Marina Del Rey, and Mt Baldy!!!   Those were some of the best times of my life.   I had several k-beam 11.25" and the first 2 foam models back then too.  I grew up skating the backyard pools of Palm Springs and parks of SoCal.  Man, the concrete parks and pools used to beat the snot out of my boards.  Check out my two old 11.25" K-beams, one I rode 'til the nose was smashed down to the front truck holes.  If I had known how valuable they'd be these days (how many of us have dreamed about the boards we HAD).  COOL THREAD!  Anyone else skate Big "O" or any of the desert pools of the '70-80's?  Post up if ya did!

Yow!  Nice collection!

There was a thread a while back like "where did you skate in the 70s and 80s" where people posted their skatepark membership cards and pics of the old parks.  Check there for Big O and Upland guys.

WOW RATONE!! Love the actions shots of the good ol days Bro! I've seen that capsule in the mags and in video, and it kinda looks scary. Sweet, but scary. I'm quite sure you have stories to tell????

  Great collection!

And yeah, when I can't sleep, I try my hardest to walk my mind through all the decks I've ridden. Man, I've forgotten more decks than I can remember! I can remember skating certain spots, but can't remember what board I was riding at the time??

Go Granny!

OSR, you're not holding out on us now, are you?  You got to have a couple nice NOS setups for us.

Here are a few of mine, I'll have to take pics of the rest, I have some prototypes and other cool ones I've collected over the last couple of years.

The really beat up Salba is no longer in my collection but the others are still there.
