A new score, a little rough around the edges, but I love the graphic on this one. (Well there's a surprise....)

Anyone got the other 2 decks in this series?

Thanks liquidskyzz

Bernie, Thanks for that link. Never seen it. BTW, I have maybe 2 (two) sets of the bottle green 70mm Kryps (raised letter). Almost sold 'em to Lance Mountain awhile back.

Here's some new blood for this thread.  I just LOVE these old k-beams!  I hope they never re-issue them so they stay rare as crap.  Dig the old Energy Bowlrider trucks, super clean & I think they're rare too.

Welcome mekagojira.  That is sweet!  My brother had one set up the same way.  And, come to think of it, we had that same parquet floor in the house we grew up in.  Hey...

hey,
NO CHANCE IN HELL that Kryptonics would ever re-issue
those. They aren't a 7 ply popsicle stick.
I bet they couldn't make 'em if they wanted to.
Speaking of no chance...
NO WAY IN HELL santa cruz will ever re-issue the Bevel,
the Salba Bevel or the DP Pig.
Those will stay nice an' rare as well.

I think it depends on the type of collector that you are nuke.  A lot of collectors will look at a lot of factors, (not the least of which is their pocket books) and say 'fuck it' I'll just get he re-issue.

If you're a hardcore collector, and have the funds, you'll generally hold out for the OG.  If you're just looking to get a board 'just like' the one you had back in the day, a $70 reissue will do the trick just fine.

Just .02 and I'm sure there's plenty more .02 on this one.

...and another aspect that makes origionals cool is that not just anyone will/can get one.  Kinda makes 'em extra special.  Anyone & everyone can get a reissue.  Meeting a guy who looks like Jay Adams isn't the same as hangin' out with Jay for a pool session.  The real deal is just that much more special.  Reissues are cool, especially for riders, but origionals are the real deal and they were there with us back in the day.  It's all just fun 'n games.  It's all just wood after all.

I'd rather grind coping than collect boards, but I get to do both... life is good!!!

I'll lurk around and chime in as needed. but obviously I joined so I could get that deck into the right hands. I'm happy that I found the right collector here because it belongs in that collection.

sorry man, everyone has a reason for initially joining a forum. I'm just being honest, yeah that's what brought me here. I found some cool info here on these Krypto boards that wasn't anywhere else. It takes a bit to get a feel for any forum before feeling like a part of the community. no offense but I feel like that welcome mat has been yanked out from my feet. it's not like I'm selling a bunch of crap and never coming back. yeah I had it for sale on snb.  call me a newbie and give me crap for posting in the wrong section.
