Thanks Wes,
Please let me know if any rider Beamers are still available.
I really want to ride it but thought only Limiteds were left.

My son is carrying on the Pool tradition. Got him stoked at 10.

I was staring at the Beamer art last night and noticed that the gray coloring on the gas mask looks very much hand done and not color corrected in Photoshop.  Was that intentional?  It kind of makes me wonder if Wes could get a more raw, hand done effect with heat transfer.  Not that I'm suggesting a wholesale switch to heat transfer, but I think it could open up some possibilities artistically?

Stoked Ya Like it!  It's all one a painting done in one shot then scanned, I did pump up the black in photoshop cuz in spots it was more grey then black.  Yea I like it cuz it all art with little photoshop.           The only things is CMYK, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow & Black printing (the Transfers) is not as bright as spot colors.

I would love to see a T-Shirt with that artwork. It has almost all the classic BDS elements in it.

Yeah, love it.  So does everybody who sees it.  I took it to the skate park over the weekend and everyone who saw it said the same thing - "That board's too nice to skate."  Hahaha.  I told them I felt the same way, but I had to skate it anyway.  Still haven't dropped in with it yet, though.  I just can't bring myself to scuff the paint.  It will happen eventually - next time, probably.  Now I know a little bit how it feels to setup a carpaint and drop in with it for the first time.

But, getting back to the art, look at the gray on the gas mask especially.  You can actually see the pen strokes.  I don't think you could get that effect with silk screen.

Wes,
I agree that the artwork is such a great composition that it would be a killer T-shirt.
Please consider...
Man, it is tough coming late to a party, but looking at all the past boards there really is a nice progression.  cheers to the new Beamer owners!
