Well, acquiring the elusive Sims Pharaoh (picture #2 on the left) has put me into retirement.  I've been gunning for this board for so long, that I can't believe I finally got one.  Okay, we'll see how long my retirement lasts!

Anyway, here are some pictures of my collection right now.  I have a mix between late '70's, '80's and BDS boards (I'll take some pcs of my BDS stuff and post that one in a few days as I have them displayed elsewhere).

Anyway, here's where I'm at right now...

@Cretin - it was a short run board from '87.  Seems kids at the time just didn't seem to connect with mummys, I guess!  It was with the same run as the Phillips Tie-dye, Staab Scientist and some of the other late '80's classics (gotta see the "Full Buzz"  unreal)...Anyway, here's some pics of the Sims ad:

@mohave - thanks for the props.  That Santa Monica deck you have is a very rare deck and one from the same run as the classic Dagger tail, and all of those Mondo Airbrush boards as well as this one.  For 9.99?!  Sick!!...

Yeah, that Andrecht is RAD. One of my Holy Grails. I would hang it, but also have it ready to ride. What wheels are on that MP?

Hey MotorHead-The green lettering was done on the first Andrecht model (which preceeded mine by a few months). Mine has the Purple lettering to indicate it is the Concave model. Both models are unbelieveably rare. If Dave has four, he is sitting on goldmine if he ever needs the cash!

@LouDulce - the wheels on it are a set of nearly perfect Sims Snake Conicals. They look like they went down the driveway once or twice. They still have a nice vibrant green to them, which is bitchin' as old urethane typically fades and dulls.

Thanks guys.  It took quite a while to pull this group together.

In case anyone cares, the story on that Andrecht is that it was mis-listed on eBay a few years.  Seems someone posted it on eBay Motors!  Yep, as a result, it slipped through the cracks and I bought it for $180.

I rarely share prices on great deals, but that was such a sweet pick-up, I had to say something!  I love that deck---

Mine also had green lettering. It was the last board I got before I got into cars & such. I had it protected nose to tail, so it was kept in beautiful condition, I just wish I remembered what the hell happened to it. I skated it at Marina del Rey a couple of times.

I bought that andrecht deck when I was twelve with a slew of christmas cash.I had been reading skateboarder for awhile and and there was a great photo of andrecht  doing a backside air on the back of the mag and I just dug that pic.I was in dallas visting my dad and we went to the mall that had a little skate shop and there it was. got the indys, and didnt have the dough for wheels so they came a few months later. that board made it to a skate park in dallas and the rest of the time it was  just street skated. I loved that thing.

I recall it being heavier then sin, but it cost me a shirt-load at the time! Since, like most of us here, I had to work to pay for that sucker, I kept my stuff in good condition. Boy, what I wouldn't give to have that sucker back.
