What's up guys. I'm Starting to skate again after about 20 years. Dug my old Flyaway helmet out of the garage and the padding is shot. Anyone know of where I can order new foam padding?

Not sure if your intentions are to stick around, but hello and welcome if that's what you decide.

Use the Search feature here (upper right of page) and use terms like "Kanoa" or "Flyaway". There are dozens of threads.  Someone may have posted a thread or a reply on here about pad replacements for those helmets.  Google the name along with "replacement pads" and get a lot of hits, including Amazon and SoCal Skates...not sure if they're specific or will even fit Flyaways, but I'm also not the one looking.  Good luck with your search and your return to skating.

Thanks guys. I did search a little prior to joining this thread and didn't really find anything. I'll try again. I really want to go with authentic flyaway replacement foam.

Awesome thanks. I'll have my wife look him up on her Facebook. I don't do Facebook. Guess that makes me anti-social media. Haha

It makes you smart!  If you had ever read their security policy over the years, you'd curl up in a fetal position in the corner of the room.

Glad guys here were able to give you the details on how to acquire these.  I definitely didn't find any OG pad repalcements in my .000371 second Google search.

Haha that's awesome. Yeah never understood why people wanted to do MySpace or Facebook. People put so much of their personal info out there carelessly. Also, who really cares to see pics of the meal they are having at that moment. I like to keep it simple. I work, eat, sleep, try to spend time with my boys and fit in a little skateboarding now and then.

most folks use photobucket. you post your pics there and then use the links they provide to it for posting here. there is other options, but I am not familiar with them.

Thanks for that man. I'll check out photobucket. This is the first thread I have ever joined ever. Loving the pics of the vintage old school stuff. Once I figure out the pic upload issue I'll join in. All I have left from my favorite set up in the late 80s early 90s is my Gullwing Super Pro III Magnesiums. They are in real bad shape though. I would very much like to get my hands on an old school Grosso Santa Cruz deck with the Coca Cola graphic. Really want to marry that to these magnesiums, complete the set up the way I had it back then and hang it on the wall.
