Finally moved into my house in Punta gorda... anyone wanna help me break in the new local park (north port skatepark) Sat. And/or Sunday? Park seems to have a fun bowl and flow, I'll find out tonight. The park opens at 11 on weekends, hope some BDS brethren can make it.

Hey Dylan,

If/when you get to Tampa, if you haven't already done so, check out the Bro Bowl in downtown Tampa. A real historic piece of skateboarding history. A must do if you ask me.

The Skatepark of Tampa is pretty good to, wood construction...indoors...a massive half pipe outside if are into that.

Do you play Disc Golf by any chance?

I thought th bro bowl was removed. I'll have to go check it out. Tampa is on the to do list, but it is a haul, like 2 hours to get there

Disc Golf is just like playing golf but with frisbees. Except it's free to play, the courses are a nice walk through the woods, and you don't have to wear a polo shirt either! You happen to be living in a hot spot for disc golf, and Clearwater has the BIGGEST disc golf store on the planet.

The Bro Bowl is still there, but being threatened to be removed so they can put up a statue of some dude. Combine it with a session at The Skate Park of Tampa and it's worth the 2 hour ride.

I haven't made it to Kona yet, but that is on my short list.

Here is a video from the Bro Bowl. I'm the one with the epic dive that my sweet wife happened to catch on film and repeat it over and over at the end for all of eternity!

The board just stopped and I kept on going, a great example of deciding to wear pads that paid off.

Here's a quick look at Disc Golf:
