Porsche 356 [thumb]. One of the nicest car from the late 50's and 60's in my opinion.

338 rear wheel horsepower, translates to about 420 horsepower at the crank.

I like that 356.  There was a green one like that that sat rotting in the alley behind my old apartment for years.  I tried to contact the owner to see if he would sell it, but he never responded to me.

Here's a couple nice examples I saw at local car shows recently.

I'm not sure why the bumpers are different on this one, but I've seen pictures of other 356s with the same bumper?

.......63' Chevrolet Bel Air 4 door, used to have a 63' Biscayne 2 door before I moved from CA, it was pretty rough though, had been gutted by tweakers, foil on the fuckin' fuses n shit, I spent a fair amount of money just getting seats in it and removing the straight six & powerglide for a 350 w/ 350 turbo trans, on to the next chapter, I scored this right before I left Salt Lake, typically wouldn't buy a 4 door unless it was older but I was sold when I found out it had a 327 from a mid 60's Corvette in it, haven't got to spend any time or money on it since I bought it last year, but I'm working on it, once I kill the 4 speed stick for a 4 speed manual I will be lowering the fuck out of it, probably get some custom made wires for it like I had on my last 63'

stoked to have a 327, always wanted one but never could find and if I did couldn't afford until I stumbled upon this beast, a few boards were parted with to acquire
