Hey,

Have ambled here having possibly aquired a Tap Tail 2. Posted this in a seperate thread earlier but; Wondering if you lovely people could give me some advice on setups? Haven't got a clue what I'm doing when it comes to trucks and wheels yet unfortunately! Wanna do some laid back cruisy stuff on it, maybe progress to some light pool stuff eventually but no time soon...

Think i have some old Lush Longboard's trucks and wheels hiding somewhere that were mounted on a 9" deck too, dunno the trucks apart from they're stock from last year, the wheels are 70mm- would these be any use whilst I wait for money to appear for new gear?

Go easy on me!

I had this deck hanging on the wall for 5 years.  With a new found taste for smaller decks, I finally decided to take it down and set it up.  Its gots 149s and Mini Dubs with Ron's Missiles.  Fun little ride.

Do ya think u wouldn't go any wider than Indy 129's on this particular deck with a wide wheel . Setting one up now and it's been a minute

My TTII above has Indy 149s with center set Mini Dubs.  The board is about 9.25" wide at its widest point.  That truck and wheel combo is just a hair shy of 9".

I have an Alva Tri Logo set up with Indy 139s and regular Dubcons.  That board is 9.5" wide at its widest point and the wheel and truck combo is about the same.  That setup feels really right to me for that board.  I could see the same setup on the TTII.  You would have just a little wheel hang in the back where the board is narrow, but I think the ride would be improved a little with the wider setup and you'd have a little more hanger to grind than with 129s.  But, if you want to go with a 9" wide setup for your TTII and have almost no wheel hang, then you could go with the 129s and either Dubcons or Dragons.

Well, never posted this one here.....Still have it
Built it for my daughter.  She rode it a coulple of times, then stopped.
I have let a lot of kids use it.  Too small for me, but not kids.
