Hey thanks, It turned out to be better than I thought. Thats not always the case. Ive seen the small version of this deck, the yellow just pops out in the sun. It almost looks like a brite lite. If anybody else has seen this version, I welcome some comments, thanks.

I saw that auction and lusted after that board. Very cool!

You should do a virtual reality tour of your collection online... it's the most inspiring display I've ever seen. The reflective metal backdrop is just way cool, and them there's one great looking assortment of decks.

I don't think I'm the only one collecting all your pics...

Here's a BEAMER I recently came across (rather unexpectedly) for relatively little moolah:

BEAMER

It's structurally sound but cosmetically hurtin' a bit. Aside from other problems (the top "Beamer/ Powell" graphic is seriously flaking away, for instance) is the sad fact that It's missing a Powell Peralta decal on the bottom.

Does anyone have any idea where a brother might score one of these? Even a repro would be nice. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks, Tim. But as you can see, the top is not quite as nice. I think most of the paint was gone before I got to it. The guy had two strips of grip running the length, with that gap in the middle. I pulled the right side off too roughly and it took some of the Beamer graphic off w/ it. With the left side, I used a hair dryer and the results were a little better but still, I lost a little:

BEAMER.top

If the top logo had only been more intact, it would have been an easy thing to just re-grip the top (except a cut-out for the logo) and then slap a replacement sticker on the bottom and the re-furb would be done and it would look pretty sharp. As it is, I have quite a project on my hands. Luckily, I dig projects!

Any ideas for fixing up that top logo? Replacing the missing bottom sticker?

Looks good to me OG. Get some Pizza Grip Tape & throw it on top. Add a Powell Peralta sticker on the bottom .. some Ex-tracks & some Orange bones & your set. NICE!

Thanks, joepa. And yeah, old decks should have their battle scars left intact, IMO.

That bottom sticker is really the only crucial thing.
