Can you believe the snow flakes out there? Universities are providing pizza, puppies, and playdough to help their students get over the shock of the election. Other schools are providing crayons, counseling, optional class attendance, and optional test taking.

What would make you feel better about the outcome?

Yeah it's kind of hard to protest when your busy working. The funny part is how people are still crying about losing. Landslide loss at that.

I was meaning for this election...not the ones in the past. Don't get me wrong....I am far from a supporter of Clintons...far from it , but I think I would also be bummed as fuck if Trump was the leader of my country .

Too funny with the saying of "drain the swamp"....and with the team he is putting together it makes sense , as it is exactly the scum you would find on the bottom of a drained swamp.

And he sure got rid of those outsider lobbyist......he brought them right into the house so they can remove the middle man. Don't have to ask for things anymore....just take them.

Not saying it was better before ,and of course Trump's not a politician.....but guess what , now he is now and doing just as most others would. Making sure him and all his big money friends will be well taken care of.

 Sorry...I will stop now.....lol.

Okay, not a fan of either Clinton or Trump.  So 82% of the population did not vote for Hillary?  Since they're close (she's slightly ahead in the mostly irrelevant popular vote per the latest numbers), using the same math, doesn't that also mean that slightly more than 82% did not vote for Trump?  And considering roughly 25% of the population isn't even old enough to vote, in reality, roughly 240 million people are of legal voting age (age, not registered).  120 million or so voted, or about 50% of the total eligible voters.  So, each got about 25% of the eligible votes.  Considering both candidates were pretty awful, 50% just didn't give a shit enough to actually vote.  That's pathetic.  It's an honor, a privilege, and a responsibility to vote.  Almost 123 million voted in 2012, which was only about 53% of the eligible voters that year.  So, roughly half of the eligible voters don't even bother voting in the presidential election and it's what, 30% turn out or so for mid terms?  Again, pathetic.

My wife was telling me the other day about some petition that roughly 4 million people signed about the election results and the popular vote.  I think she said Pink (?) and maybe Lady Gaga (again, ?) were pushing for this.  I said, "Well, that's pretty much a waste of time.  There's this thing called the US Constitution that states the electoral college decides the election, not popular vote.  If they wanted their opinion to count, perhaps they should have voted on November 8th because boycotting or bitching about it after the fact doesn't change either the election results or the Constitution."  Trump won the states he was expected to win and handed Hillary her ass in every key battleground state.  He got the requisite 270 electoral college votes, she didn't.  He's the president-elect. Pretty simple stuff here.

It seems we'll just have to wait and see how this turns out.

I wasn't voting for boyfriend of the United States. I was voting for the candidate that I thought would do the best job... "He said mean things" isn’t a disqualifier for me. Not compared to her record.

A plumber might show 3 inches of butt crack when he comes into your house, but if he fixes the fucking problem you can look past it...

That's a pretty funny comment.  Okay, to be clear, I wasn't attempting to make pro or anti Trump or Clinton comments.  More about citizens not caring enough to vote and then subsequently bitching about the results.  Each of them capturing about 25% of the voting age population isn't exactly bragging rights.  But he's been elected and that's the deal.  Don't like it?  Get the hell out there and vote next time.  Protesting, signing petitions, and whining in general are just silly.
