Just got a Quad 10 thanks to Merlin.

Here it is... I just set it up with a front wedge riser, Krux 6.0 (6.3" hanger) Trucks, ultra minis dyed blue and steel rockets.

Here is my new #1 rider. I've only ridden twice, and I'm not completely healed from surgery yet, but this is THE BEST deck I've ever ridden! I've got indy 169's with bones hardcore bushing hard in back medium in front. 5/16 riser in back, wedge in front. Right now I've got the Ultrathane minis, but once I'm back to full speed I'll put on my Black Death mini's. I'm running ceramic Rockets. I shortened the wheel base to 17 1/4.  I LOVE THIS SET UP!

Laterskater, I agree with you about this set-up... My Quad 10 is my favorite park and pool board... I have pretty much the same set up as you, but I have wedges both front and rear... And of course, I've topped my ripper off with a set of Rockin' Ron's Rockets for bearings...

Laterskater, Did you just move the front truck in to shorten the WB? I'm thinking of doing the same.

Yeah,  just the front.  I did'nt want to screw with the feel too much.  Wes NAILED the tail.  The only reason I waited so long to get a quad "rider" was the wheelbase made me think it would sluggish.  I was looking at my hanger one day and noticed quit a bit of room in the wells to shorten it down a bit.  Its truly amazing how good these are.

Cool, I'm gonna give that a go. My local park has Woodward ramps and smaller transitions. My Griffin is a little too much for that park. A Quad 10 with a little shorter WB would be perfect.

@ Gorilla Skater & Laterskater:

You can shorten the wheelbase down to as little as 16 1/2" & still have functional wheelwells.  I did that to mine & cut 1 1/2" off the nose.  If I do another one, I'd probably go to 17".  I call mine the Pool-Q.  You can see a pick of it under the Bulldog category.  I'll move the post up to the top.

SDO and Later,

I just made mine a 17" WB . I'll get it to the park this week, but it feels perfect on flat ground! Thanks!

All these Quad 10s are beautiful. Didn't know there was a brown one, nice!
Speaking of making mods, have a favor to ask of anyone who's going to the BDS East Coast Jam and is knowledgeble of these things: could ya help me shorten the wheelbase on my Quad 10? I'll gladly pay for the work.
And oh yeah, a six-pack of your favorite beer (or lunch if you're a nondrinker) for anyone who can teach me how to do berts!

Hey Cantollie,

I can't help you with the berts, but I just did the wheelbase mod and it literally takes 5 minutes. I wouldn't think about taking any money from a BDS Sistah! So no worries, I'll bring my tools to Sayreville.
