I have been playing with the quad 10 for about a year now and for some reason kept trying shorter skinnier boards.  Lately I had been running the Punk Rock Skates pool shape at 9.5 x 32.  I had plateau'd with any progression.  Each session I'd pull out my 10 with 6 tracks and mini dubs and seem to feel a bit more comfortable.  But my hard head said you gotta conform.

Well today I finally got it through my ever thickening skull that the quad 10 is the board for me.  After playing on the mini at the old Van's park here with the short stick and not even being able to pull off a decent axle stall I pulled the quad out of the trunk.

Axle stalls, 50-50's no problem.  Lines in the pool I hadn't been able roll in almost a year.  Bye-bye short board.

I just received my first Quad 10 ( 2nd Gen) yesterday. Holy smokes is it the most beautiful deck I have ever laid my eyes on.

I had planned on using it as a rider, however it came to me signed #49. I don't remember paying for a signed deck, but I guess I lucked out.

Is it sacrilegious to use a signed deck as a rider?

Ride it BDB....if you only got one deck so what, that's what they were made for. I assume that you bought it with the intention to ride it, so go for it.

The collecting and art appreciation will come when your completely stoked.....then you have to have another one....and another one....and another one.....and another one....and another one etc.

Just thought Id post my NEW OG Quad 10 that I now have thanks to our Bro S.D.O.  Thanks for the hook up!  I added Tracker Six Tracks with Grind King, King Pins, Khiro Slanted soft riser, and some NOS old school wheels I got off of ebay that are branded TO.  I guess they were cheap rip offs that were supposed to look like OJ or something?  I went with green as the deck is green stained on top!  Oh and its signed by SHOGO.  Does that make this a one of one?!

I dont know Ryan... The Quad 10 is a hanger complete.  Ive since changed out the trucks with Purple Staab Trackers.  I just liked the idea of having an NOS 1970's wheel on a complete.  Although I must admit Id like to skate them!

My Q-10 set-up, held up by my youngest (the local girls are in trouble in a few years !). Indy 169's, black mini dubs (not black death) - since changed to white ultrathanes. Unfortunately, I did not take a picture of the top as it has a wicked green stain. Used clear tape so I didn't cover it up. Many sessions of use by dhorne ! Also a fave bum-board on the ramp for my three kids.

The wheelbase on this deck has been shortened to 16.5" by moving the rear truck forward the difference between old school and new school holes and pulling the front truck back an inch.

Set up with Black Web Smiths, Khiro Bushes blue front red rear, 1/4" hard and 3/16ths soft Khiro Risers, Rockin Rons Steels and either BD or Mellow Yellow Mini Dubs depending on terrain.

Turns real quick with this set up and Kicks a bit lighter than standard wheelbase. An experiment that has worked out well.
