I asked the question, "Is this a re-issue" on this BigFoot on Ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/DOGTOWN-SKATEBOARD-ORIGINAL-BIG-FOOT-Art-WES-HUMPSTON_W0QQitemZ150422557376QQcmdZViewItemQQptZL

Here is the answer....
Dear skikatdaddio,

It never went out of production ! I work with Dogtown ! These decks have been being made the same since the 70's. No DT decks are reissued. They are only reissued if the company stopped making them ! They have been making DT decks the same since the 70's with no lapse in production ! If you go on our DT site it will tell you these are OG
decks. Companies like Alva went out of bussiness. Then when they remake the decks there reissued. So no this deck is not A reissue. No Dogtown decks are reissued ! I skated on the same deck when I was 16yrs old. Now I'm 46 whats that tell you ? Dogtown has no decks that are reproductions at all !
Thanks

That Dude's on Crack & Doesn't have a Clue what He's going on about!

DTS Died in the late 70's Mutt & Jeff dumped allot of the board's, wheels & all at swap meets then split town owing all of us money...    I heard Nathan & Stacy tried to grab it & I think even put out an Ad but were busted by Jim who had restarted it up early 80's....    Jim asked Me if I wanted to be part of it but after getting ripped off by Mutt & Jeff I really wanted no part of the Skate Bizz....

As far as the BFI that wasn't remade till a few year's ago cuz Jim never had that Art.....

Since they're all the same, I will be happy to swap shiney new DTS decks (still in shrinkwrap!) for any old crusty DTS decks from the 70's.

No. I'm good. $50 for a rider seemed reasonable. Gets me to the beer store and back.

For what its worth...
This is why alot of us keep coming back here, straight talk, no b.s. and generally
good vibes.  I still believe, despite recent events, that integrity is the only lasting
capital any business has.  Anyone I've ever dealt with here has been a man of their word. Sad to say,but a scarce thing these days...
