tomatoes would have been cheaper [thumb] cool wheels paly,never owned any of those myself and often wondered how they rode,never saw any of them over here back in the day

These pre-dated the Rollerballs, Looner Land Fireball wheels.
These were made in the UK.

Nice wheels Paly.  Never owned any, but they're cool.  The real question is what's the duro rating on the tomatoes?

Fuzzlord - I can't imagine for one minute that anything that came out here in the UK pre dated anything from the US. Although the Beadle stuff is certainly early Brit stuff the Fireballs must have come after the G&S Rollerballs, the Brits were always behind in the development and production, we just copied what they had.
