Wifey has a conference in SD 11/10 - 11/12.  So, we'll be in SD 11/10 - 11/15.  I'd like to hit Coronado when we're there.  Any of you SD guys up for a sesh?

Lets do a Sunday sesh. Usually a decent turnout of old fuckers.

Ooooh.  The toilet seat board!  Sweet.

I'm really not sure what day is going to work best.  Gonna try to do some stuff with the family and, since the wife will be unavailable Wednesday to Friday, that may mean we will be doing family stuff on Sunday.  But, if Sunday is the best day to skate, I'm sure we can work around it.

I read on CD that the concrete at Coronado is very smooth.  Will I have any problem with grip with Black Death wheels?

You sure about that?  All I see are Ultras in your top 5.  I can pack some Ultras if there's any question.  I had problems sliding out on my BDs at a couple of parks with smooth concrete and a little dust.

Any recommendations for the best fish tacos in SD?

Also, any skate shops I shouldn't miss?

I ride Ultras only cuz I just carve around now with the hip replacement. Everyone else down here rides 98's & 100's. Coronado is what harder wheels were made for.

Pretty much only Rockin' Ron's for me.  I was having withdrawal when he shut down for a while.

Gots the BD Dragons with Missiles.  Love the ride.  So fast and smooth.

Sounds like BDs then for Coronado.

Now, about those fish tacos....

Luche Libre fish tacos, Brigantine Restaruant that also has killer calamari tacos, & Wahoo's. It's pretty hard to fuck up a fish taco, but those are three of my favorites. Sombrero's & Santana's are good fast food type. And of course any of the 'berto's taco shops.
