We used to get it in the UK about a month behind. Who didn't love the Val Surf setup ads. Great times.

I just saw this, Skating was in surf movies in the early days, guess they didn't surf or go to the movies?  [rofl]   Thats funny Debs dad didn't like Like CR's articles, my Dad didn't really like any of my skater friends Period! [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]   I do remember hearing DT was blackballed at the mag over petty shit in the later 70's?

CRIII is still my favorite photographer, before skating I would see him taking surf photos sometimes on a surf mat that He could ride/surf it to.
