I have heard about them on S&B. I heard that the first run was a bit on the flexy side because of a thinner layer of formica that they were pressed with.
The second runs are sposed to have a thicker layer of formica and a bit stiffer. Seth/letsgoskatepool has one i think.

If I'm not mistaken that is ezWider as the skater of the week.

i have the cult. killer shape, killer ride. the prototype model i got was a little flexy, and when i told davo about it he told me he was already on it and thickened up the formica to the same thickness as is on his pigs. great ride

Howdy,
I'm also waiting on the 2nd run of Skatercult decks.
I'd heard they were a "little" flexy....and I really dig my
Skaterbuilts 'cause they don't flex. AT ALL.
Hopefully that minor problem will be ironed out and
I can grab a Skatercult a.s.a.p.

That's ezWider ? Cool, my point was now there's another deck I gotta have where as before I didn't even know about it. Good to know about the flex thing and it's actually good more company's don't make 34, 35, or 36" decks 'cause I'd have to try them all.

Hey Eskimo, I know the feeling! I had a Comet Proflex Park 36" that I liked. Saw the new Pocket Pistols 36" Hosoi & had to have one. Had that deck less than a month when I saw the 36" Skatercult & ordered one of those.

Now it's a battle between the Hosoi & the Skatercult. Both are great decks and I'm glad to have them. Tough to decide which one to ride, so I take turns. A fast responding 36" deck is alot of fun!

The Skatercult has a bit too much swing weight in the nose. I'm going to get mine cut down & rounded off (the nose will look like a Deathbox Hackett Surf/Skate). I'll lose an 1 1/2" in the nose, no big deal on this deck.

I'll post results when it's done & tested.

Howdy,
That sounds interesting SDO. Make sure you let us know
how the surgery turns out; definitely not afraid to "work" on
a deck if it makes it respond better!
