About thirty years ago I had read about an old circular skateboard called the Skircle, mentioned in passing in a UK mag. The mind boggled at what this thing could look like, let alone ride like. I did try googling this term when it came to mind again last year (unearthed from the back somewhere) with no success, I started to think I was tripping out and then I found it. Anyone here ever ride one of these mental things? [skircle210]

Too right, I like that it's the only issue with this board[biggrin]
It has about 6" wheelbase, I'm guessing also that it's just a disc of fibreglass with truck thrown on, wheelies like like they're fairly impossible, let alone telling which way is forward... I want one!
I think it's the future, Penny boards will be soon be replaced with a swarm of these wobbly discs.[misc7]

Never seen those in my time. Interesting though. I have a 2 1/2' plywood disc I made for water skiing behind a boat. No skegs and has 2 wood ski boots on it is all. I'll bet this skircle steers easier![wink]
