God bless his family, may they find peace sooner than later...Thank you Wes for spotlighting a fantastic human too, and Steve would've wanted me to say TOTP bitches..

It’s been quite a while since I’ve been on here but felt compelled to post. RIP Steve, you will be sorely missed by the bds and nor cal skate crew! It had been too long since we last skated and was quite shocked when CO called me las last week with the news, so sad. Peace and prayers for you and your family. Gods speed my friend

Sad to hear, RIP Steve, even though we never met. There were always lots of photos around on the site, one of Steve on a Mini Z in an aerial that always inspired me to get mine out and go for a skate.

Great pics, great memories thanks Tony B. I remember how stoked everyone would be when CO would put up pics of the latest session, on one of Wes' new creations

I can't say much more about Steve then what's already been said. I was fortunate to skate and hang with him on several occasions. He was a top shelf human.

Steve gave me my 3rd forum handle "SeaWolf" after I showed up to skate PdS and had grown a beard. The crew busted up laughing, I had no choice but to accept it. It's actually an honor that he "named" me.

Talking to CO last week, I mentioned that Steve had to have the most recognized ass amongst his skater friends. As that's mostly what we saw of him, ass up heads down grind after grind, handplant after handplant. A surf/skate style ripper of the highest order.

Steve wanted to retire from being a fireman, drive to Pleasure Point, smoke a bowl and go surfing. I've been carrying that wish with me in my recent surf sessions. Sorry that we can't share that session too, brother.

Rip in Peace, Steve.

Truly saddened to hear this. I’m just sitting here, staring at the screen not sure what to even say. Thankful I got to meet him. One of the nicest, most humble guys on the planet. I always looked forward to seeing pics from his skate sessions.....such a killer skater with so much style and versatility.

. R.I.P., Steve.....and thanks for providing more stoke than you could ever realize.

fuck. 😞
